The Anglican Parish of Coromandel Valley Celebrated the 145th Anniversary of
St. John's Church
on Saturday & Sunday 5th-6th May 2018

Congratulations!

As a Parish we extend our thanks to all involved in arranging the Parish Celebrations for St John’s Church last weekend. There are too many to name all, but we especially note
the work and time given by the following:

 John Bone, in overseeing the overall experience and many details

 Daphne Bone and Peggy Bishop for their marvellous catering

 Those who researched and brought to publication the booklet “A Sacred Heritage” - John Bone, David and Judy Merry, Jenni Bailey, with Trevor and Maxine Conlon of the Coromandel & Districts Branch of the National Trust, SA.

 Warren Bourne for his organ music

 Jen Dickenson and the Corowood Choir for their wonderful concert “All you need is love”, with a lovely piece from the Coromandel Valley Primary School choir added

 All who contributed to the memorable worship of our Thanksgiving Service with Archbishop Geoffrey

 Everyone for their invitations to and welcome of past parishioners, all of whom thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the event

Saturday 5th May, St John’s Church:
2.00 pm: Thanksgiving Service led by Archbishop Geoffrey Smith. [This will be a service of

also sing during this concert, in honour of the church’s anniversary and the link
between neighbours.
Tea to follow: On this occasion, Choir members will prepare the hall and the tea/coffee etc.,
but will not exclusively provide (their usual wonderful) sandwiches and cakes.

We invite you to do so, letting Daphne Bone know since she will coordinate the
