SOMEONE TO PRAY FOR YOU

What is the point of Prayer?

It is not easy to say exactly what prayer does since it operates at many and different levels. In the Bible we are often told to praise God and give thanks. Jesus himself says: "Ask and it will be given to you. Seek and you will find."

So there is opportunity on this page to both use some of the given prayers or to write and ask specifically for prayer for yourself or some other person.

Please write to us at office@coroparish.com and we will respond as quickly as possible.

  F A Q s
Question: What sorts of prayers are appropriate?
Answer: Most people ask for prayers for other people in times of sickness or crisis. It is also appropriate to ask for prayers of forgiveness, for courage and confidence. Since fear is something that often weakens us as people,it is appropriate to ask for prayers to combat fear.

Question: Will God grant my request?
Answer: We can be sure that God does hear our prayers, and that they will be answered in the way that is best for us.
This may not always be in the way we think or imagine, but if we take time to note how God is answering our prayers we could well begin to see new ways of being faithful and responding to God

Question: Is there a particularly appropriate formula or special type of prayer to use ?
Prayer is not magic and the "Appropriate formula" is believing in God. Or what we call faith. Faith is being certain that God will hear and answer our prayer. This is what we hope for.

It is good to pray with others and to ask other people to pray with us, we hope you will let us pray with and for you. But it is probably a good thing to ask someone in a local church to pray specially with you if you can.
contact us to pray with you.
