"Our Parish Quiz Night was also an excellent success, attended by close to 160 people including many parishioners with accompanying groups of family / friends / work colleagues, and a couple of tables filled by Belair parishioners.  $5,800 was raised, which is excellent.  
 
We thank:  Quizmaster Troy Edwards, MC Jamie Harding (both of them, family of 2 of the organisers), and Auctioneer Anthony De Marco. . . .
 
We offer great thanks to the team who enabled it, right down to those who arranged tables, put up colourful balloons, obtained prizes, and helped to tidy the school hall afterwards.  Karen Stephenson, Peter Kalendra, Elizabeth Parker and Wendy Newson formed the original organising group, assisted also by Jen Dickenson and Lyn Wells.  Tyson Jeanes retrieved money from people – in the nicest way of course – even using a special credit-card machine attached to his mobile phone.  "
