On a Sunday in July which started out cold and foggy, about 50 parishioners and friends met in the parish hall to enjoy a Mid-Winter Christmas Dinner.
John, Daphne and Peggy, with the assistance of many helpers provided the traditional offerings.
Between the turkey and Christmas 'pud', led by John, our assembled group joined together in some traditional carols.
The raffle had a range of terrific prizes and the trading table was also well stocked and both were well received and successful.
We celebrated some significant recent and imminent birthdays as well at the dinner:
Bunty Orange 96
Mary Strange 94 and shortly
Peggy Bishop 93
Our congratulations to you all!
Our thanks to John, Daphne, Peggy and helpers for a terrific event!
